Bug#488497: mc: entering directories with spaces over fish doesnt work

I'd like to confirm that with
mc_2%3a4.6.2~git20080311-4_i386.deb

Downgrading to mc_4.5.55-1.2_i386.deb fixes the problem, however that
version suffers from the 2G file limit problem.

Hello,

when I try to enter a directory whose name contains spaces on a remote  
machine over fish, like /mnt/c/Documents and Settings, the operation  
fails. The only message is cannot chdir
