Hi Dmitry, the patch was included in 5.10.0-14, but I decided to revert it in 5.10.0-16 because 'pod2man --utf8' is too experimental to get run by default in Lenny. I'm hoping Pod::Perldoc acquires an interface for turning '--utf8' on optionally in the future. perldoc actually runs pod2man in the background, so this is very related
