Bug#494627: Fw: Bug#494627: doesn't work well with devices that have > 1 storage devices

2008-08-10 Thread Chris Debenham
I've never tested with multiple devices (and only just added libmtp 0.3.0
support so unsure if multi-devices would have even worked before)
It could be a mtpfs issue or libmtp issue - do two 'Music' directories show
up when they just run 'mtp-folders'?
If they do then the problem is in libmtp.
If only one shows up then the problem is in mtpfs.

Hi Chris,

I maintain your "mptfs" software for the Debian GNU/Linux distribution. I
also use your software regularly with a Creative MP3 player, many thanks for
writing it.

I received a bug today--quoted below--regarding a device with two storage
areas - is this a bug in mtpfs or should I re-assign it to libmtp?

Best wishes,

Hello,

I've got an LG VX8550 which has two storage areas on the device,
internal memory and a microSD card. Unfortunately, mtpfs doesn't seem
to respond well to this scenario. I see two Music/ directories in the
mountpoint, but no music in either one...
