Module mga_vid loads but does not work. This is an up to date
debian sid. The mga_vid module was build and installed with
module assistant:
$ sudo m-a -t a-i mga-vid
the module compiled and installed fine. It's here:
$ find /lib/modules/2.6.26-1-686/|grep mga|xargs -r ls -l

It's possible to load it:
$ sudo rmmod mga_vid ; sudo modprobe mga_vid ; lsmod|head -n 4

and the /dev/mga_vid device node is there, with correct
permissions and numbers:
$ ls -l /dev/mga_vid*

but it does not work. The vlc and xine media player GUIs do not
show mga_vid as a video driver. I do not know how to force them
to use mga_vid.
When using mplayer it does not show the movie:
$ mplayer -vo mga -ao alsa /usr/share/xine/visuals/default.avi
