Bug#502919: Debian specific

Actually, I was wrong about this. emacs22-gtk is te default in
OpenSuse but when I run explicitly emacs-x11 there I get the same
problem.

Moreover, replacing emacs22 with emacs22-gtk on Debian turned out to
be a good workaround this bug. However, the bug is still lurking
there.

Sorry for the confusion, I did not expect this.

I have looked at the Suse package. It does not contain any patches,
and build options are as easy as debian.

Bug#502919: Debian specific

2009-03-23 Thread Martin Jambor
Hi,

additionally, I believe this bug is either Debian specific or some
kind of weird problem with my configuration (still a bug though). I
can reproduce this on two Debian computers but not on an OpenSuse
computer.

I have tried copying over the ~/.fluxbox/init file from the working
OpenSuse box to one of the deian boxes but it did not help.

The Debian fluxbox is:
--
jamb...@alvy:~$ fluxbox -i
Fluxbox version: 1.1.1
Compiled: Mar 18 2009 23:12:19
Compiler: GCC
Compiler version: 4.3.2

Defaults:
menu: /etc/X11/fluxbox/fluxbox.menu-user
   style: /usr/share/fluxbox/styles/Debian
keys: /etc/X11/fluxbox/keys
init: /etc/X11/fluxbox/init
 nls: /usr/share/fluxbox/nls

Compiled options (- = disabled):
-DEBUG
EWMH
GNOME
IMLIB2
NLS
REMEMBER
RENDER
SHAPE
SLIT
TOOLBAR
XFT
XINERAMA
XMB
XPM
--

The OpenSuse fluxbox is:
--
mjam...@virgil:~$ fluxbox -i
Fluxbox version: 1.1.1
Compiled: Jan 16 2009 16:18:22
Compiler: GCC
Compiler version: 4.3.2 [gcc-4_3-branch revision 141291]

Defaults:
menu: /usr/share/fluxbox/menu
   style: /usr/share/fluxbox/styles/SUSE
keys: /usr/share/fluxbox/keys
init: /usr/share/fluxbox/init
 nls: /usr/share/fluxbox/nls

Compiled options (- = disabled):
-DEBUG
EWMH
GNOME
IMLIB2
NLS
REMEMBER
RENDER
SHAPE
SLIT
TOOLBAR
XFT
XINERAMA
XMB
XPM
--

What configuration apart from stuff in init could cause this?

Thanks,

Martin
