I have already done some trivial things at :

by mixing bts-link code and subclassing btsutils classes.

FYI, I've moved some bits of what needs to be added to python-btsutils into
http://git.debian.org/?p=users/olberger-guest/python-btsutils.git;a=summary
instead of in the SVN repo above, to make it more independant of the RDF
conversion.

Just in case someone would be interested to review these changes ;)

Still, it relies on code from bts-link.

Regards,

Bug#508812: python-btsutils: Extend btsutils so that it can process a mirror of the BTS spool/database for mass processing

2008-12-15 Thread Olivier Berger
Package: python-btsutils
Version: 0.3-1
Severity: wishlist

Hi.

I'm thinking in improving python-btsutils so that it can mass-process bugs
(mainly for queries) without loading too much the SOAP interface of the BTS, by
using a mirror of the BTS database, as done in bts-link.

I have already done some trivial things at :
http://picoforge.int-evry.fr/websvn/listing.php?repname=helios_wp3path=/trunk/python/
by mixing bts-link code and subclassing btsutils classes.

Any comments welcome (as well as suggestion on best place to continue such
discussion).

Best regards,
