The support was dropped because there was no movement on the upstream
side.

We won't take a patch again for this support. You have to sort this out
with Linux upstream.

 ASFS filesystem is missing in your new kernels. This created problems
for me (i use also MorphOS and upgraded away from FFS long ago, when
