Bug#511253: storm update in Ubuntu

Hi Scott,

I applied all the recommendations from Stefano Rivera and merged
all your changes. I don't ask him to sponsor this because he seems
to be very busy right now.

If you have a chance to take a look at it and review it, you can
find the package at
svn://svn.debian.org/svn/python-modules/packages/storm/trunk.

Let me know if you find something odd.

Cheers,

FYI,

I just converted the package to dh_python2 in Ubuntu. I'd recommend
incorporating those changes in your package.

What needs to be done are just small fixes to fully conform to Debian Policy.
The package is already pretty much functional.
I expect to contact my sponsor with a ready package during the next weekend.

 Hi Giorgos,

This still is not ready to go in Debian, but I rebuilt the package that I

You can test it, it is available at [1].
If you couldn't use amd64 binaries packages, please rebuild it [2].

Hi Giorgos,

This still is not ready to go in Debian, but I rebuilt the package that I
have in the works since some time ago to add it support for python2.7.

You can test it, it is available at [1].
If you couldn't use amd64 binaries packages, please rebuild it [2].

Consider that like a preview, I'll try to find some free time to finish this.

Hello Giorgos,

Yes, there is progress on this bug. A DD was reviewing this package
some weeks ago and I have some pending tasks to do.

Expect some activity on this in the next 2 weeks.

There are developers working with storm and we Debian users still can't use
those apps, we really need Storm.

Hi Manuel,

Storm is already packaged but it is just waiting for review
and upload. I can't upload it since I'm not a Debian Developer.

You will have to wait a little more until Storm is available
in Debian.

In the meantime you can download a python-storm package from my
web space at Alioth:

http://alioth.debian.org/~nomadium-guest/debian/unstable/python-storm_0.17-1_amd64.deb
http://alioth.debian.org/~nomadium-guest/debian/unstable/storm_0.17-1.dsc

Or you can use the package available at Ubuntu:

http://packages.ubuntu.com/maverick/python-storm
