It is now applied to the release notes.

In your bug report you mention a list of firmware. Do you think it is
possible to make such list?

I've seen this in the installation guide:

  The following overview should list most available firmware packages but
  is not guaranteed to be complete and may also contain non-firmware
  packages:

* http://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=firmware 

Would you recommend this for addition in the release notes?
