Bug#516489: pinentry-gtk2 should treat pressing the escape key as cancel
Package: pinentry-gtk2 Version: 0.8.3-1 Followup-For: Bug #516489 Is there any chance to integrate the patch that I have provided? I received no response from upstream, but I cannot really follow the development. Maybe the maintainer would have some more attention in pinging the developers? Bug#516489: pinentry-gtk2 should treat pressing the escape key as cancel
Package: pinentry-gtk2 Version: 0.7.5-2.1 Severity: minor If i run: echo GETPIN | pinentry-gtk2 i get a nice clean dialog box with OK and Cancel buttons and a starred-out text entry field. In every other GTK2 dialog box i see that has OK and Cancel buttons, pressing the escape key is treated as though i clicked the Cancel button. In pinentry-gtk2, the escape key does nothing. this is an inconvenience, and a non-standard UI which makes navigating the dialog (and other similar dialogs) have more of a cognitive toll than it should have. --dkg signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature
