Bug#517375: [xfce4-session] Black screen on game exit
Package: xfce4-session Version: 4.4.2-6 Severity: normal --- Please enter the report below this line. --- When I play a game and exit to return to desktop, the screen turns black and if I click on menu icon (by intuition because the screen is black), the menu is showed but any more is showed, no pannel, no window. I prove the bug with with nvidia, nv and radeon driver without changes. I prove the bug launch Xorg from terminal and xfce4-session and the bug don't change, to be sure that is not problem of xdm. I don't view a system error on dmesg, Xorg log and syslog. Are you using compositing? Could you try disabling it? Does it fix the problem? It may be related to #483070 (it sure looks like it). It'll be fixed in xfwm 4.6.0 which has just been released and will be uploaded (to experimental) soon.
