I have libnotify1 0.4.5-1 libnotify-bin 0.4.5-1 libnotify0.4-cli 0.4.5-1 python-notify 0.1.1-2+b1 xfce4-notifyd 0.1.0-2 installed but no package "notification-daemon". :-O By the way, there is no banshee-icon displayed in sys-tray. Enabling the icon, nothing special happened when I skipped songs manually. When banshee jumped to the next song, a notification appeared and banshee encountered a fatal error. The error seemed to appear in the moment the notification was disappearing.
