Thank you for your clarification and agreement.

Bug#524310: fontforge: Program fails to start

2009-12-29 Thread Kęstutis Bilūnas
Hi,

I'm still thinking about the closing this bug, because I can’t reproduce
this and nothing else do not confirm this problem. Is there still exist
the problem for you?

Bug#524310: fontforge: Program fails to start

2009-04-17 Thread Kęstutis Biliūnas
severity 524310 normal
thanks

Hi,

I can’t reproduce this with the same fontforge version on stable
and on unstable Debian releases. In addition, I believe that it is
Xorg problem. Therefore, I still decreased the severity of this
bug to normal.

This are the messages from the X server.

This is a message from the fontforge program, but it clearly says about
the X-server problem.

Unfortunately, I do not know what to advise you. Maybe you should try to
edit the file /etc/X11/Xorg.conf, or turn off the visual effect if you
use them.

Best wishes,

If I attempt to start it, fontforge will open a small window (probably the
