 A very similar problem has just been reported on the ArgyllCMS
 mailing-list[1].  

And another one got the reply at [1].  The upstream author believes the
bug comes from the recent security patches applied on icclib.  I'll see
if he has an updated patch.

A very similar problem has just been reported on the ArgyllCMS
mailing-list[1].  The reporter there seems to think there might be a
correlation with the NVidia proprietary drivers.  Do you also use them?
It might help track down the bug if you can confirm that you are; and if
you're not, then it's probably something else.
