Sorry about that - noticed as I hit send.  I sent a copy to the bugs
list.

 could you please remove the ~/.reportbugrc file and try again? In case
 it fails again, please report the complete shell session.

There is no ~/.reportbugrc file.  The program never gets to writing it
before it crashes.  Just ran it again anyway and the result is exactly
as posted in my original report.

Reportbug crashes every time I try to use it.  The latest session went
as follows:
