Bug#526027: python-sphinx: dutch translations (and probably others too) are not available
Piotr, Since 0.6.1-1 locale/*/sphinx.mo files are not shipped python-sphinx anymore, so now translations do not work properly. I've debugged a bit and found that sphinx locates the .mo files either in directory mentioned in config file or in /usr/lib/pymodules/curversion/sphinx/locale, both not quite useful for fixing bug. What do you think is the best way to fix it? One-line patch to sphinx, adding /usr/share/sphinx/locale to gettext search path, or maybe something else? -- pgpai862znklX.pgp Description: PGP signature

[Piotr Ożarowski, 2009-05-13] patching sphinx/builders/__init__.py seems like a best approach, sorry, I've missed that while moving files actually... I simply forgot to install .mo files (after preparing all the other stuff, eh, sorry) - fixed in svn signature.asc Description: Digital signature

Rico, I don't have any sphinx-based documentation with translations available. Can you share your docs or point me to the such ones for testing? -- pgpHAuxiDiin8.pgp Description: PGP signature

Package: python-sphinx Version: 0.6.1-1 Severity: normal Hello, I just upgraded the sphinx version on my system to 0.6.1 via apt. Unfortunately translations don't seem to work properly. Within the conf.py of my documentation I have set the locale to nl. With the former version I could build the dutch version of the specific documentation without problems. But with the current one I get the following warning while building the docs ... loading translations [nl]... locale not available Thank you very much in advance!
