I can reproduce this with 6.2.18 and with 6.4.5 from experimental.
but upstream has already a report on this and also have commited a fix
to their VCS, so this will be integrated on to 6.4.5 and the package
will be uploaded to unstable.

with gcc-4.4/g++-4.4 from unstable.
