Bug#527535: openoffice.org-calc: Rows to repeat in print range yields Invalid sheet reference
Hello For the archiv: I can reproduce this problem with version 3.2.0~rc3-1. I read the workaround at https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=502641#c12 1. Select Tools/Options... from the menu 2. In the left tree navigate to OpenOffice.org Calc/Formula 3. Click on the Arrow right to "Calc A1" to see the list of possible grammars and select "Calc A1" explicitely from the dropdown list (even if it was already selected) 4. Press "OK" to save this works for me -- Dipl. Ing. Press "OK" to save these steps resolved the problem for me. I can now specify row ranges to repeat for printing. In fact, i didn't even need to explicitly select "Calc A1" from the drop-down list (as it as already selected). I just pressed "OK". I tried this out from a test account, with no initial ~/.openoffice.org* at all, and got the error message before doing this step. after visiting Options/OO.o Calc/Formulas and clicking "OK", i was able to successfully set "Print Ranges" "Rows to Repeat". To make sure that the setting was actually applied, I tested this all with PDF export (i don't have a printer configured on this machine), and the rows are indeed repeated. > If that doesn't work at once you may try to select some other grammar, > save, > and then revert back to "Calc A1" and save again. Bug#527535: openoffice.org-calc: Rows to repeat in print range yields Invalid sheet reference
Hi, Ifound this in(http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=18929)and it works for me using 3.1.1-11 ~ bpo50 +1: The problem is that the syntax check in areasdlg.cxx fails if there is no formula grammar specified in the user configuration. In that case lcl_CheckRepeatOne() just returns "false" instead of trying with the default grammar. As a workaround try the following: 1. Press "OK" to save If that doesn't work at once you may try to select some other grammar, save, and then revert back to "Calc A1" and save again. Please report if it worked for you or not. -- Carlos David Marrero Sistemas y Tecnología Instituto Autónomo Consejo Nacional de Derechos de Niños, Niñas y Adolescentes (IDENA) Usando Canaima GNU/Linux Linux Counter ID 451879 Salve un árbol. withckage: openoffice.org-calc Version: 1:3.1.0-5 Severity: normal Hi, I can confirm this bug, for openoffice.org-calc 1:3.1.0-4 and 1:3.1.0-5 and I am missing this feature. Reading https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=502641 there seems to be no progress and the bug seems to be Debian specific. I do provide my system information here. Perhaps it is helpful. Bug#527535: openoffice.org-calc: Rows to repeat in print range yields Invalid sheet reference
Package: openoffice.org-calc Version: 1:3.1.0-1 Severity: normal This seems to be a regression in version 3.1, it worked in 3.0.1. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open or create a spreadsheet document 2. Select Format - Print ranges - Edit 3. Click on the "Rows to repeat" entry 4. Select one or more rows they will show up as e.g. $1:$3 5. Click OK 6. An error message will appear: "Invalid sheet reference." The same happens with the "Columns to repeat" function. It seems to make no difference whether a print range is defined and whether the selected rows / columns are inside the defined print range. I presume this is an upstream bug, would you please forward it after confirming this?
