I reinstalled python-gtk2 but without help. So I think that might be better reassigned to the python base package or so as it seems to be a general problem. Maybe it is even a python bug as for my view the pyc files shouldn't be needed at all. (They just speed up the stuff a bit.) So pkpgcounter works now. But where is the bug located that this compiling was not done before? I think if that is an issue rendering all or many python scripts unusable that this is a big bug.
