Package: pymsnt
Version: 0.11.3-2
Severity: normal

In the latest HG tree this was fixed about five months ago, however you
will notice without the patch[1] that the pymsnt daemon generates a lot
of traffic needlessly and gets stuck in a persistant loop.

The bug was first reported on the py-transports[2] mailing list and it
would be great if either the package could be updated completely or at
least the relevant patch[1] is applied.

I would half argue that this patch should be slipped into the next
maintainence release of lenny as generating huge amounts of traffic
needlessly is only going to annoy Microsoft greatly so is possibly
derogating their service.

Cheers
