Bug#544154: aptitude: crashes after enabling security updates for testing and updating

2009-08-29 Thread Aioanei Rares
Package: aptitude
Version: 0.4.11.11-1+b2
Severity: important

Just installed testing/unstable and after adding to my sources.list the
security repo, I did a
sudo aptitude update; it segfaults after downloading almost all packages. gdb
shows

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.

I discovered it was a typo in my security-related line in sources.list.
Correcting it made the segfault dissapear. Still, it's probably an
unhandled exception somewhere.
