Yes, the hotkey-setup package should in fact be removed (after verifying that its functionality has been picked up elsewhere in Debian). It was removed from Ubuntu here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/hotkey-setup/+bug/458961 And the process of deprecating the package in Ubuntu is documented here: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/jaunty/+source/hotkey-setup/0.1-23ubuntu8 https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/jaunty/+source/hotkey-setup/0.1-23ubuntu9 https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/jaunty/+source/hotkey-setup/0.1-23ubuntu10 -- Steve Langasek Give me a lever long enough and a Free OS Debian Developer to set it on, and I can move the world.
