Bug#546746: openvas-server: wrong plugin directory
Package: openvas-server Version: 2.0.3-2 Severity: normal Hi, openvas-nvt-sync downloads plugins to /var/openvas/plugins/ (hardcoded in the script) while in openvasd.conf plugins_folder = /var/lib/openvas/plugins/ Thus, openvas cannot find any plugins in the default configuration. tags 546746 + pending confirmed Thanks Hi Andreas, thanks for the bugreport. On Tuesday, 15. Just change: NVT_DIR=$localstatedir/openvas/plugins into: NVT_DIR=$localstatedir/lib/openvas/plugins Anyways .. I commited a fix to the svn and it will be hit unstable shortly, but there are some remaining issues with the plugin sync stuff, which should be fixed first.
