Please have a look at the screenshot, it show a smbshare mounted via
gigolo.
Don't confuse standard GTK file chooser dialogs and Thunar. GTK does
support GVfs since 2.14, Thunar doesn't, at least no stable, released
version.
Your screenshot shows a standard GTK file chooser dialog, probably one
of a mail client.
After all, as I said before, this is all completely unrelated to
Gigolo. Gigolo doesn't actually mount, it's only a frontend to GIO and
GVfs.
