Bug#553327: kvm-source already in kernel, but nobody knows

I don't know what to write there. If I had known, I wouldn't
have created this bug report.

AFAICS kvm 88 is in kernel 2.6.31.5, so maybe the kvm module
source package is obsolete?

KVM is the unstable tree so yes, if you're running kvm you probably

AFAICS there is no qemu-kvm in Debian. And Qemu doesn't make use
of the kvm kernel module. ???

Point of this br is: Would you mind to change the Description

qemu-kvm should show up very soon now.

Bug#553327: kvm-source already in kernel, but nobody knows

2009-10-30 Thread Harald Dunkel
Package: kvm-source
Version: 88+dfsg-1
Severity: wishlist

Since kvm is already in the kernel source tree, it would
be very nice to find some information about this in the
Description field of the kvm-source package. Would you
recommend to install and build kvm-source, if I am running
Debian's kernel?

Many thanx

Harri
