Hello Dmitry,

I know it's a while ago you opened this bug.
In the between times several new icedove packages are builded. Did you
have this crashes too in this versions? Have you tried to use a fresh
clean userprofile for icedove? Or is this problem gone with the wind.

What a flashback :)
I'm using Thunderbird 13 now. No problems so far.

Never mind. ;)
O.k. I will wait for the answer from Dmitry.

Please feel free to open a new bug report if some other problems will occur.

@Hramrach
You only wrote that you have some other error, wich kind of error? Did
this also happen with current versions? If so, can you please explain
what kind of errors.

Carsten

Bug#557609: icedove crashes when secon send attempt fails

2009-11-23 Thread Dmitry Koroban
Package: icedove
Version: 2.0.0.22-0lenny1
Severity: normal

I have buggy mail server which sometimes reports:
476 connections from your host are denied

When I try to send new email, icedove reports an error and returns to new
message window.
If I press "Send" button once again, icedove tries to connect again, fails,
shows message box
with error description and then crashes. New message will be lost, if not saved
prior to send.
