5.1.22-3 works as expected on my system (following the steps in the original bug report works perfectly, no trapped cursor), which is making it very difficult for me to test any further fixes! What version of xserver-xorg-core do you have installed? I had problems while using xserver-xorg-core 2:1.7.4-2. After downgrading to 2:1.4.2-10.lenny2 (current package from stable release) grace works again. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. I found that grace versions: 1:5.1.22-1, 1:5.1.22-2 and 1:5.1.22-3 are effected by this bug. That is why it is rather due to recent upgrades of some libraries than to grace itself. I run Debian testing (squeeze). Solution: downgrading xserver to that from Debian stable release fixes the problem. This bug is definitely related to the xserver.
