Package: squid
Version: 2.7.STABLE3-4.1
Severity: normal
Hi,
When my users brows on the internet with their internet explorer systems (xp
mostly), they frequently don't receive all images and/or css-files from pages.
They then end-up with a broken layout and/or boxes with red x's in them.
This can easily be reproduced by clicking around on e.g. www.ibm.com. Please
note that I don't think this is a problem with the ibm-site, as other sites
give this problem as well, AND with
firefox/chrome this problem doesn't occurs. So it must be something between IE
and Squid.
If a user presses cltr+refresh on such a broken page, then the page loads
perfectly fine!
While going through the access.log I noticed that it seems that it seems the
fist attempt squid sends only parts of the file and only after the forced
refresh the whole file (image, css, etc.) is
send.

I verified that the filesystem on which the proxy stores the cache has enough
diskspace and enough inodes free.
