Hi,

Here a progress report.

Meanwhile I have a succesfull build of davmail.

The Alioth repository has my changes.

Next steps are
 * install check
 * de-install check
 * install
 * test drive the programm in CLI deamon mode ( no GUI stuff )
 * upload
