Bug#578146: iceowl: Private events are not shown
Package: iceowl Version: 1.0~b1+dfsg-4 Severity: important -BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Iceowl is used together with an exchange server via davmail gateway. Private events in the exchange server calendar are not visible in iceowl. If one is added in iceowl does it only show until the next time iceowl is restarted. Bug#578146: iceowl: Private events are not shown
Hi Anders, On Sat, Apr 17, 2010 at 11:48:32AM +0200, Anders Lagerås wrote: [..snip..] Iceowl is used together with an exchange server via davmail gateway. It works fine to add private events to the exchange calendar via iceowl. So basically the issue is that the events don't get updated if you don't add them via iceowl itself. Does file-reload remote calendars do any good? Sunbird is dead upstream so there's little help of getting this fixed. Could you try reproduce with iceowl-extension/lightning? This way we could forward the issue upstream since lightning is still being developed. Any help in forwarding these kind of issues upstream (and iceowl/iceowl-extension bug handling in general) upstream would be greatly appreciated. No. Private events in the exchange calendar is not shown i iceowl. That is the issue. So I misunderstood, that's whats happening: * private event added via exchange - not shown * private event added via iceowl - only shown _until_ next restart of iceowl? Correct? If this looks like a bug in davmail. Is there anything in the logs? Could you take this up with the davmail folks?
