Even more when you actually look at the dict...
Looks the ispell - myspell conversion went fubar (which honestly doesn't
surprise me at all for this package).

Maybe we should just remove it? (And/or finally fix 476677...)

 Aha. So myspell-hu is buggy.

OK I will wait your advices!

 OK, and now please install hunspell-hu (and remove myspell-hu;
 should happen automatically)

I have now installed hunspell-hu (and removed automatically myspell-hu).
I run 'gdb pidgin' command and wait until my HDD stop and Pidgins window

I doubt that it's a problem of hunspell - but if it is it's a dictionary bug.
Paul, I see you use hu_HU as locale, are you also using the hungarian
myspell/hunspell dictionary with enchant? If yes, which one? Does it
work if you exchange them? Or remove the one you use=

But it's just a warning there, not a crash And given that no backtrace
or info sent by Paul includes hunspell

OK. So, from what I understand, when you start pidgin, it crashes with
that error message, right?
Could you please remove pidgin-facebookchat and see if pidgin works as
it should?

If this is indeed pidgin-facebookchat's fault, then please try reproducing
this bug with the latest version of the plugin which is available in
unstable
(1.67.1-1).

Cheers,
Iulian

It's not a crash exactly but nothing happen, Pidgin just won't start.

Could you please remove pidgin-facebookchat and see if pidgin works as
bit should?

OK. First I removed pidgin-facebookchat and then try to start Pidgin from a
xterm but get the message: error: line 11: bad flagvector
 and nothing happen after that.

Then I purge pidgin and every addons for pidgin (encryption, hotkeys, etc.)

and after that I install only pidgin but even so I can't to start pidgin.
Only get the 'bad flagvector' error.

It seems that's not a bug in pidgin-facebookchat. I still have no idea where
the problem is.

Especially as neither pidgin nor pidgin-facebookchat is linked against hunspell.
(Ok, there gtkspell - enchant - hunspell, but whether hunspell is used then
depends on what you use with enchant)

Yea, sure.

0455.05 iulian ari: OK. I have no idea what the problem is then. I'm
tagging the bug
as 'help'.
1245.24 iulian ari: OK. It seems that's not a bug in

comments in the bug report. Any idea to which package I should reassign
it?

1336.54 iulian ari: Alright... how did you find out?

Here are the logs. I must say that they are not so helpful.

If there is anything else I can do, please let me know.
