Bug#584272: Can't start pidgin: bad flagvector, (Pidgin:4135): Json-CRITICAL, jack server is not running
Hi, 2010/6/6 Iulian Udrea iul...@ubuntu.com Hello, What version of pidgin-facebookchat were you using when this bug appeared? I were using verson 1.65-1 of pidgin-facebookchat when this bug appeared and I'm using it now too. -- Regards, Paul Chany http://csanyi-pal.info
Bug#584272: Can't start pidgin: bad flagvector, (Pidgin:4135): Json-CRITICAL, jack server is not running
On 6 June 2010 11:50, Paul Csanyi csanyi...@gmail.com wrote: I were using verson 1.65-1 of pidgin-facebookchat when this bug appeared and I'm using it now too. OK. So, from what I understand, when you start pidgin, it crashes with that error message, right? Could you please remove pidgin-facebookchat and see if pidgin works as it should? If this is indeed pidgin-facebookchat's fault, then please try reproducing this bug with the latest version of the plugin which is available in unstable (1.67.1-1). Cheers, Iulian

Could you please remove pidgin-facebookchat and see if pidgin works as bit should? OK. First I removed pidgin-facebookchat and then try to start Pidgin from a xterm but get the message: error: line 11: bad flagvector and nothing happen after that. Then I purge pidgin and every addons for pidgin (encryption, hotkeys, etc.) and after that I install only pidgin but even so I can't to start pidgin. Only get the 'bad flagvector' error. It seems that's not a bug in pidgin-facebookchat. I still have no idea where the problem is.
