Bug#595443: Exaile hangs when trying to play some MP3 files

2011-08-04 Thread Stanislaw Klekot
Actually, in Exaile from Debian Squeeze (I was still using Lenny until
recently) the bug seems not to be present.

Bug#595443: Exaile hangs when trying to play some MP3 files

2011-05-07 Thread Vincent Cheng
Hi,

I've played with your sample .mp3 file and have not been able to
reproduce this bug. Could you please upgrade to the latest version of
Exaile (0.3.2.1) and confirm whether or not this bug still exists?

Kind regards,
- Vincent

Bug#595443: Exaile hangs when trying to play some MP3 files

2010-09-03 Thread Stanislaw Klekot
Package: exaile
Version: 0.2.11.1+debian-2

I'm using Debian Lenny.

I've found that Exaile hangs on playing several MP3 files. Exaile stops
playing and responding to GUI clicks (exaile --next doesn't work
either, as it gets timeout). The funny thing is that while hanged up
Exaile ignores SIGTERM or SIGINT, it closes correctly on SIGHUP.

When trying to isolate the bug, I thought firstly that it's some problem
with reading ID3 tags, but I've used the same mutagen Python module as
Exaile uses to set all the tags in my collection. Moreover, the same
file with tags stripped (now using eyeD3) still hangs Exaile.

Here is example file that hangs Exaile:
