Bug#597860: Texmaker's editor bug

2013-03-10 Thread Javier Domingo
Package: texmaker
Version: 3.3.4-1
Followup-For: Bug #597860

Hi, I am using texmaker 3.3.4-1 and I have also the same problem. When I start
typing, the editor randomly starts displaying the characters separated, as
described in the bug. I have found that it is not an encoding or latex error,
but a texmaker bug, as if I tell texmaker to reload the file, it starts working
once more (till it randomly gets back to bugged state).

It is very annoying to have to reload the file every 3 minutes.

This also happens in texstudio.

Bug#597860: Texmaker's editor bug

2013-03-10 Thread Javier Domingo
I have found that it doesn't happen randomly, it seems that when you
use any key sequence that has uses Alt key, It will start to fail.
To get back, you have to press the menu key, press one up/down arrow
key and Esc. That is the method I follow atm to avoid having to
close and open the document.
