Bug#603348: Error because of /usr/share/pixmaps/mplayer.xpm (in Squeeze)

I did apt-get clean followed by apt-get install mplayer-gui and got the 
following error message:

trying to override '/usr/share/pixmaps/mplayer.xpm', which is also in package
mplayer-gui 2:1.0~rc3++final.dfsg1-1
configured to not write apport reports

This version of mplayer does not exist in the official Debian's
archive. Please uninstall it first or drop non official repositories
(like debian-multimedia) from your sources file and try again.
