Bug#603588: (no subject)
If FAI_CONFIG_SRC is set in /etc/fai/fai.conf and the URL contains a nfs location then fai-setup will add an entry in /etc/exports. Can we close this bug now? This is because fai-setup exports the config space defined in FAI_CONFIGDIR, not the path from FAI_CONFIG_SRC. FAI_CONFIGDIR is the local path to the config space. It is used by several fai tools. FAI_CONFIG_SRC is not used for deciding if the config space is located locally on the install server. What if nfs://anotherserver/path/to/cspace is used. Then you do not need to export anything. So, please also set FAI_CONFIGDIR to the local path to the config space. This fixes your problem. -- regards Thomas -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org

I think it's better to parse FAI_CONFIG_SRC from $NFSROOT/etc/fai.conf if it's undefined. Then FAI_CONFIG_SRC is set to the correct value. -- regards Thomas -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble?
