I have the same setup as you. My iceweasel works nicely with the Java
plugin. You can enable the Java console and some debugging with
jcontrol. And you might want to contact the iceweasel maintainer to
find debugging options on the browser side.

Thanks for feedback.

I have enabled the java console on jcontrol and tracing and logs too, but
iceweasel crash first I see some output.

mer dic 22 09:50:17 stef...@hpdv5:
~/Documenti bash $ iceweasel
TypeError: imns.Cc['@iopus.com/tcpsi;1'] is undefinedSegmentation fault

p.s. TypeError: imns.Cc['@iopus.com/tcpsi;1'] is undefined is from an
add-on with java enaled or disabled.

Nor console or log files I found.

Again, I have reinstalled the package after purge but crash again.

I have seen the java console one time while I have seen the java cache
popup too.

Maybe I need to ask to iceweasel maintainer how have more debug: could you
tell me the right way?

 Cheers,
 Torsten

Ciao

Bug#607744: sun-java6-plugin: Iceweasel crash

2010-12-21 Thread stefano
Package: sun-java6-plugin
Version: 6.22-1
Severity: normal

When start iceweasel, it loads the open tabs and after few minuts iceweasel
crash.

I've tried to start iceweasel with -safe-mode option and then disable
add-ons and plugin. Only with java plug-in disable iceweasel works fine.

Sometimes, if display a popup about java cache (with plug-in enabled) then
iceweasel don't crash after.

Thanks.

Stefano
