now I have. There is a slight difference. with -n the wmnet window just show up in the center of the screen and disappear after an instance, but with -w, the wmdock icon moves to the left, and than back after wmnet exits. with xfce 4.6 wmnet worked without any glitch (and I never used -w). thanks for the reply and the forwarding! Bug#623614: xfce4-wmdock-plugin: 0.3.2-2 won't take wmnet anymore
Package: xfce4-wmdock-plugin Version: 0.3.2-2 Severity: normal Tags: sid xfce4-wmdock-plugin won't take wmnet anymore with 0.3.2-2 (and xfce 4.8). I don't know if it applies to any other wm applet, wmnet is the only one I use. If I start it without wmdock, it starts perfectly and the dockapp appear in the center of the screen. with wmdock it exits immediately after starting. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing-proposed-updates APT policy: (500, 'testing-proposed-updates'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.38.3-1 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=hu_HU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=hu_HU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages xfce4-wmdock-plugin depends on: ii libatk1.0-0 2.0.0-1The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.11.2-13 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libcairo2 1.10.2-6 The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libfontconfig12.8.0-2.2 generic font configuration library ii libfreetype6 2.4.4-1FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-02.23.3-3 GDK Pixbuf library ii libglib2.0-0 2.28.6-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.24.4-3 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libpango1.0-0 1.28.3-6 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libwnck22 2.30.4-3 Window Navigator Construction Kit ii libx11-6 2:1.4.3-1 X11 client-side library ii libxfce4util4 4.8.1-2Utility functions library for Xfce ii libxfcegui4-4 4.8.1-4Basic GUI C functions for Xfce4 ii xfce4-panel 4.8.3-1panel for Xfce4 desktop environmen xfce4-wmdock-plugin recommends no packages. xfce4-wmdock-plugin suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe.
