Bug#626576: [gajim] gajim consumes 100% when idle
Package: gajim Version: 0.14.1-1 Severity: important Hi, gajim consumes 100% cpu even if it is closed in the tray. gajim -v shows that a message like this 10:28:40 (I) gajim.c.x.idlequeue read timeout removed for fd 24 For that specific second the message is written 2512 times which is probably a lot even for instant :). AFAIR this is something that regressed around 0.14.0 (sorry for not filing it before). thanks, riccardo --- System information. --- Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux 2.6.39-rc5+ Debian Release: wheezy/sid 500 unstablepkg-fso.alioth.debian.org 500 unstablemi.mirror.garr.it 500 unstableftp.de.debian.org 1 experimentalftp.de.debian.org --- Package information. --- Depends (Version) | Installed ==-+-=== python (= 2.6.6-3+squeeze3~) | 2.6.6-14 python-gtk2(= 2.16.0) | 2.24.0-1 dnsutils | 1:9.7.3.dfsg-1+b1 Recommends (Version) | Installed -+-=== dbus | 1.4.8-3 python-dbus | 0.83.1-1+b1 notification-daemon | 0.5.0-2 python-gnupginterface| 0.3.2-9.1 python-openssl (= 0.9) | 0.10-1 python-crypto| 2.3-1 Suggests(Version) | Installed =-+-=== python-gconf | 2.28.1-2 python-gnome2 | nautilus-sendto | avahi-daemon | 0.6.30-3 python-avahi | network-manager | 0.8.1-6 libgtkspell0 | 2.0.16-1 aspell-en | 6.0-0-6 python-gnomekeyring | gnome-keyring | 3.0.0-3 python-sexy | python-kerberos (= 1.1) | texlive-latex-base| dvipng| python-farsight | gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly| 0.10.18-1 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Thanks for the workaround, will try to find the offending server, both are ejabberd, one is 2.1.6 and the other one is an ancient 1.x. riccardo -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe.
