 Hi,

since a while, I've got issues with the DejaVu fonts as you ca see on
n the attached screenshots: some letters don't display correctly (the
't' and the 'f' respectively) at this specific size.
The weird thing is that the problem only appears for specific size,
usually on only one letter. And if I close all the windows of the
application which show the problem (here Iceweasel and Roxterm) and open
it one more time, the problem is gone or the buggy letter is a different
 one than previously.

I'm not sure if the problem is related to this specific font. I don't
use many others and I didn't see the problem on other fonts, so it might
be necessary to reaffect this bug. However, I have no clue how to fix or
 deal with this problem.

Very likely this comes from something else, given the prevalence of
ttf-dejavubut no idea what to reassign this BR to.

I think that, some day, we'll discover that the bug is fixed in some
way (of course it is unreproducible at least for me)...

Fixing the bug severity: it doesn't fit the definition of 'important' anyway.

This looks very similar to 612464. Jonathan, could you have a look at
Brian Carlson's questions at http://bugs.debian.org/612464#15 and let us
know if it is related?
