Package: dh-make Version: 0.59 Severity: normal
Hi, Making a Debian package, I add a initscript. dh-make created package.init. And one of lines is: start_daemon -p $PIDFILE $DAEMON -- $DAEMON_OPTS But doing that, even if I pass an argument to $DAEMON_OPTS, it is not applied. In my case, I put "-l 1", this option wasn't seen at runtime of the daemon. The only way I found to fix the problem was moving -- before $DAEMON and after $PIDFILE, instead of after $DAEMON. It's probably a bug I guess. Maybe could be fixed? Or it can work properly in other circumstances? Because I'm sure I didn't change this line myself, it was generated by dh-make. I can test again if you want.
