with latest 1.9.0b4-1 firebug version, this bugs seems solved.
(take a look of image attached) 
Can I close this bug?

Adding the Firebug button to the toolbar makes the toolbar noticeably
larger, at least with small icons enabled.  It look like the Firebug
button doesn't properly fit the toolbar.
