Bug#639246: retext: Tries to unregister timer which is not registered

2012-04-27 Thread Michael Below
Hi,

I just tried to reproduce the error, no success with the current
version from testing.

But I don't use retext regularly, I just created a short example
document. When the error occured, I had created a longer document.
Editing that longer document today also returns no error.

Cheers

Michael

Hi! Do you still experience this error with the latest retext (2.1.x)
from testing/unstable?

Bug#639246: retext: Tries to unregister timer which is not registered

2011-08-25 Thread Michael Below
Package: retext
Version: 1.1.2-2
Severity: normal

After editing some text and closing retext, I found this error
message on my command line:

Application asked to unregister timer 0x1d07 which is not
registered in this thread. Fix application.

I was not able to reproduce it simply opening closing the app,
seems to be something more complex.

Thanks!

Michael

Bug#639246: retext: Tries to unregister timer which is not registered

2011-08-25 Thread Dmitry Shachnev
Hi Michael! This error may be caused by hundred of different reasons.

- Did you only get it once or do you get it several times? If the
latter, what are you doing when this appears (i.e. clicking Preview,
printing and so on)?

- Do you use the spell checker? Python-enchnant can cause this error.
Are you able to reproduce it without it?
- Can you try ReText 2? The .debs are available in Debian Unstable and
here (no extra dependencies are needed):
  http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/r/retext/retext_2.0.0-1_all.deb
  http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/r/retext/retext-wpgen_2.0.0-1_all.deb

Anyway, this doesn't affect the stability, so is not an important issue.
