Followup-For: Bug #644595
I see this as well with the package from experimental. I only installed it as
I couldn't build the version in unstable (3.5.2) successfully on my system.
At this point I don't see how I can run eclipse.
I'm happy to assist in any way possible, if somebody tells me how to debug this
further.
Note: I have the solution - skip to the bottom if you're short on time. ;)

Luckily I noticed that libjasper-java_5.5.26-5_all.deb is in current stable.

At this point eclipse started and I could install the Android ADT Plugin so I'm
pretty chuffed. It looks like bumping the apache.jasper symlink in
eclipse-platform should do the trick, but I'm quite naive on this stuff so I'll
leave the maintainer to decide waht the best way forward is. :)
