Bug#645764: gnumeric: Error with the background colours

2011-10-20 Thread Andreas Guelzow
In the sort dialog, the "Sorting preserves formats" checkbox determines
whether background colours move with content or not. (See the tooltip
for the checkbox for an explanation.)

With regard to the sort buttons on the toolbar, this is determined by
the option of the same name in edit->preferences->tools->sorting.

The SORT spreadsheet function acts on contents only (and never affects
formatting in any way.)

This is not a bug.

Bug#645764: gnumeric: Error with the background colours

2011-10-18 Thread Nicolas Patrois
Package: gnumeric
Version: 1.10.17-1+b1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

The sort function sorts correctly the items, but the background colours does
not follow the cells, they just stay where they were.
