Bug#648357: grass: segfault with -l flag in r.proj

2012-01-16 Thread Hamish
Hi,

I can't reproduce this with GRASS 6.4.0+42329.

can you provide more details and a backtrace?
see http://grass.osgeo.org/wiki/Bugs#Using_GDB

it is not mandatory, the default behaviour is to assume the mapset
name is the same as the current one. (the same is true for the GIS
database)
That wasn't actually noted in the man page (although it was in the
v.proj man page) & so I've just added it in svn.

worksforme,
Hamish

I get the same results when specifying the mapset argument, but if I
don't supply it, then I see:

GRASS 6.4.1 > r.proj -l location=spearfish60
Segmentation fault

If the mapset argument is mandatory, shouldn't the help page show this
argument without the surrounding brackets under the SYNOPSIS section?

It does not seem so even if having to specify an explicit existing mapset seems
annoying and counter-intuitive (but it is not the only case):

2011-11-10 Thread Sebastian Luque
Package: grass
Version: 6.4.1-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

Doing 'r.proj -l location=ANY_LOCATION' gives a segmentation fault in
that program, even though grass session is not affected.
