The source is the same, but ...

... the versions of the build dependencies might by different. That
could mean we'll see this bug on other platforms too now, or that armel
was the last one affected. You could help out by comparing versions in
the logs.

Thanks in advance,

Michael

I took a look at the logs (the first time I browse buildd.debian.org.
Pretty neat system!) but I don't know what to say.
I can only see that armel build fails at line

[...] /src/gui/bibtex/bibtexfileview.h:58:5: error: 'KSharedConfigPtr'
does not name a type
https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=kbibtex&arch=armel&ver=0.4-1&stamp=1323921603

and on i386, there is no such failure :
https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=kbibtex&arch=i386&ver=0.4-1&stamp=1323921180

But I guess the source are the same on both platform, right ?

I've no idea what's going on, and I guess it's related to me getting
charmed by too many Pythons, or vice versa...

Best,
Pierre

I'm aware of the problem, but I didn't have time to track it down yet.
I'd appreciate someone stepping up and investigating this issue. I'm
also looking for people to co-maintain, or even take over this package.

Michael

Bug#651394: 0.4 stuck in unstable

2012-01-02 Thread Pierre Haessig
Hi,

There seems to be one small glitch with version 0.4 of kbibtex not
compiling on armel
http://release.debian.org/migration/testing.pl?package=kbibtex
This prevents v0.4 from entering Testing.

I don't know what the 'Maybe-Failed' status means, neither how it
compares with the 'Maybe-Successful' status. If I remember well, there
was some similar issue with version v0.4beta1, but on an other arch. Is
there something we can do about this apparently erratic behaviour of the
building process ?

Best,
Pierre
