Installing update KB2536276 on windows clients, and a using samba server that uses unencrypted passwords make impossible the connection. This is a samba bug: https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8238 The patch: https://bugzilla.samba.org/attachment.cgi?id=6593 I've applied the patch and recompiled, and my server is fully functional again. Note that the exact line number does not apply under the sources given by dpkg-source, but changes a little. The way to patch it is looking for the DEBUG call and applying before it: + p += ret; DEBUG(3,("not using SPNEGO\n")); Thank you, Miguel. -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0.3 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.39-bpo.2-686-pae (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=es_ES.utf8, LC_CTYPE=es_ES.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
