Bug#660897: ping?
Hi, It's been a month. Have you had a chance to look at this yet? I'm going to change the severity to important, as it is going to mean that, out of the box, syslog-ng does not work on machines using a local recursor. As this is a reasonably common arrangement on servers, I would think this bug will end up hitting a fair number of people.
