Bug#661486: gnome-shell: Window manager crashes when making a search while two windows share the desktop side-by-side

2014-03-20 Thread althaser
Hey Hugo,

this is an old bug report.

Could you please still reproduce this issue with newer gnome-shell version
like 3.4.2-7+deb7u1 or 3.8.4-5+b1 ?

I can't reproduce it here with 3.8.4-5+b1.

thanks
regards
althaser

Bug#661486: gnome-shell: Window manager crashes when making a search while two windows share the desktop side-by-side

2012-02-27 Thread Hugo A. M. Torres
Package: gnome-shell
Version: 3.2.2.1-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

When I have two windows sharing the desktop, side by side -- that is, when
I use that gnome shell feature of dragging the window to the top left
and right corners having them fill the entire left and right side of the
desktop -- and I try to make a search by pressing the super (windows) key,
the window manager immediately crashes and reloads.

Here's what is collected at my ~/.xsession-errors:
