Bug#666468: xorg-server: major text display problems in several apps
Hello, I encountered the same problem with debian wheezy, I solved it by installing the package "xserver-xorg-video-nouveau_1.0.1-1" of debian sid. Please made a request to use this version in debian wheezy. Thanks for your work in Debian. FWIW: There are efforts to find the right nouveau/libdrm (by patching those) which would work with 3.2 kernels while not breaking support for random cards. With the following packages the bug disappears: ii xserver-xorg-video-nouveau 1:0.0.16+git20120529+ace77b6-1 ii linux-image-3.4-trunk-amd643.4.1-1~experimental.1 Unfortunately these packages are both experimental and I am not able to test the video driver with a stock 3.2 kernel right now. Maybe someone could test the experimental video driver with the linux-image-3.2.0-2-amd64? Or are there dependencies between the xserver and the linux-image-3.4? -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
